Joe Giudice, husband of “Real Housewives” star Teresa Giudice, is getting deported back to Italy — and now Bravo has to figure out a way to incorporate the repatriation on the reality show.
“It’s premiering November 7, so the season’s already shot,” a network insider said on Wednesday following Joe’s immigration court ruling.
“I don’t know if they will add anything along the way,” she told The Post.
Another source said, “Season starts [airing] in four weeks, so they’re going to have to address it.”
The Giudices — famous for their years-long stint on “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” — could one day be reunited in the US, but there’s a lot of red tape involved.
“There are certain limits, but there very well may be a way to get him back to work in the United States,” explained Matthew Kolken, an immigration attorney and member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association’s Board of Governors.
“If he was going to start a new business in the US or if he has an offer of employment, it’s very likely he could come back to work or develop or direct a business on a temporary basis,” Kolken told The Post. “There could potentially be a non-immigrant waiver, which is a temporary visa to visit or work at a business.”
Joe, whose legal name is Giuseppe, is currently serving a 41-month prison sentence for fraud. The immigration judge in his case said Wednesday that the native Italian must leave the country and return to his homeland as soon as his time is up.
Since Joe was convicted of fraud — which is considered a “crime of moral turpitude” or “aggravated felony” under US law — the odds of him coming back without having to find work might be pretty low.Bravo declined to comment.
“Even with a single conviction, they are admissible for life,” Kolken said. “Even very small, minor violations of US criminal law or any criminal law can result in a permanent bar of readmission to the United States.”
Teresa — who was also busted on fraud charges and served 11 months in jail — refused to go to Joe’s court proceedings on Wednesday.
“Joe encourages Teresa to be this way,” a source told People magazine. “He feels a lot of guilt over what happened and would rather she just remained focused on their girls and things at home than have to worry about another one of his problems.”
Joe is set to be released from prison on March 14, 2019.
“Teresa is incredibly strong, and whether she admits it or not, I think she had secretly prepared for this,” another source told People. “It’s sad, but . . . she’ll put on a brave face throughout it all.”
