Barbara Bush is a married woman.
After Page Six exclusively revealed that mysterious invitations were sent out for a “celebration” of former first daughter Bush and her relationship with actor Craig Coyne of less than a year, it turns out that the party was exactly what we thought — a wedding.
Bush, 36, and Coyne tied the knot in Kennebunkport, Maine, over the weekend. The bride wore a custom light ivory Vera Wang wedding dress with spaghetti strap detail and a cowl draped neckline. It was accented by an Italian tulle floor-length cape and a floor-length Italian tulle veil.
“My heart exploded last night as I watched my dearest sissy get married in Maine. It was just like her: private (only family!) and full of love (and yes lots of tears!),” Bush’s twin sister, Jenna Bush Hager, captioned a photo.
In another photo, Bush Hager held onto her sister in a loving embrace.
“Happy tears, heart exploding as I watched this beautiful girl get married in the place that means love and family,” Bush Hager wrote. “I’m so proud to be this beauties sister.”
Family attendees included the twins’ mom, Laura Bush, and dad, former President George W. Bush. The bride’s grandfather, former President George H.W. Bush, also made it to the nuptials.
Bush Hager served as matron of honor, and her daughters, Margaret, 5, and Poppy, 3, were flower girls along with Coyne’s niece, Emma, 5.
The couple — who were set up by friends on a blind date last November — was very discreet during their brief romance, having never even been photographed together at events. Coyne appeared in 2005’s hit “Jarhead,” and has since shown up in a string of indie projects, including “Look at Me” and “The Snowtown Murders.”
